His themes are mainly anthropocentric, prompted by considerations over contemporary society, approached by means of abstraction and personal semiology. The artist creates abstract compositions that emit a quiet dynamism, a widespread sense of energy flow and movement. Mastering the techniques of engraving reveals in his sensitivity, rotations of light and shadow and the essential tones of shades. Efklides creates artwork using mainly the techniques of etching and screen-printing and combines other different techniques with each other. So, on the same surface, the details are rendered in many ways: with dynamic dense lines with dotted spots, with deep black backgrounds, with perfectly or with shaded white.​
